With my time at KCALondon I was able to work on a more global scale. Providing museum and public engagement to clients especially in the Middle East.
KEW SCIENCE FESTIVAL
2016 & 2017
Kew Gardens ran its first Science Festival which saw over 70+ botanical and fungal scientists interact with over 15,000 visitors.
With a 3 month timetable - I ran the Festival operations, marketing, coordination and delivery of this large scale public engagement event. The subsequent year it was repeated with an extra festival location at external sites added on.
CAMBRIDGE SCIENCE CENTRE
Team Building, Planning and Development
I was part of the core team that created the project from scratch and played a vital role in the setup and development of the central Cambridge site, systems, staff and programmes.
Oversaw the Centre’s 50% increase in visitor numbers and retail sales over 2 years.
Ensured a high quality, diverse programme of over 100+ events a year to attract and engage visitors
Won a gold award for overall customer experience

Public Engagement
It was here that I learned so many of the lessons that have applied to all of my work. For over 10 years I was able to work across multiple projects and exhibitions, really understanding what audiences enjoy and need. Highlights include managing an adults-only STEM events venue, working on the Museum's Centenary programme and Game On exhibition.
